The Eleanor Squire library is a surprising and delightful collection of beautiful and highly informative horticultural, botanical and gardening books. Most of the library’s assets are available for loan to members.

Nature Tales Story Time

Every Tuesday, 11am

Held in Library during winter/bad weather, held in the Hershey Children’s Garden when weather is nice. Children with an accompanying adult enjoy nature stories, songs, and fingerplays followed by a hands-on activity or craft.

Saturday Specials

On select Saturdays throughout the summer, the library will have sales that feature special gift books, children books, prints and new donated books, as well as our huge inventory of modestly priced books. Dates are:

74th Annual Western Reserve Herb Society Fair

Saturday, Oct. 12, 10am – 3pm

In celebration of the Herb Fair, the library will have a special of all sale books of 25% off, including collectibles and prints.

Search the Holden Forests & Gardens Catalog Online

Find books, videos and periodicals from both the Warren H. Corning library and the Eleanor Squire library in the online catalog. Materials can be used in the library by the general public. Members may borrow circulating books. The Special Collections books are available by appointment to researchers and others who have a special interest in the history of horticulture.
